All core program students are required to wear scrubs and white tennis shoes or runners during didactic, laboratory, and clinical hours. Scrubs provided by Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts must be worn on campus during scheduled class times. In addition, students are required to maintain a professional appearance in regard to neatness and personal hygiene.
While in attendance at a clinical site, student must adhere to:
- Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts Policies
- Designated Clinical Facility Policies
Students with long hair must keep their hair up and away from the face at all times. For students with short hair, it is suggested that their hair not be on their face while working. Students must wear their Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts Identification Badge at all times. Clinical facilities may additionally require an identification badge issued by their HR department to be worn at all times.
