Gurnick Academy offers Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology Program

Gurnick Academy is pleased to announce the approval of the Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology.  The Accrediting Bureau for Health Education Schools (ABHES) approved the program in January of 2015.

"We are so pleased to offer this new program. It opens the door for many more applicants and satisfies the American Registry of Radiologic Technology requirements that every applicant have a minimum of an associate degree to sit for the national examination.  We know that the new curriculum will serve our students at whatever academic level they are at up to and including graduation from high school," said Ted Vanderlaan, Radiologic Technology Program Director of Gurnick Academy.

The length of the AS in Radiologic Technology program is 2 years. Currently the program is offered at Concord Campus only. The philosophy of the Program is to graduate students who will demonstrate the knowledge and skills required of competent entry-level radiologic technologists and to insure that these graduates perform radiologic procedures as defined by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists Practice Standards. After completion of the course students may take the ARRT examination.

The AS in Radiologic Technology program start date is the July 6, 2015 and application deadline is May 1, 2015.
