Gurnick Academy Modesto Campus taking part in the charity event
Last week recruiters from the Army Recruiting Station on Standiford Avenue at Prescott Road were building gift bags to give to the Children’s Crisis Center of Stanislaus County. And some employees of our medical school helped them to prepare those food donations.
The students of Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts took part in this event as well - they collected canned and other nonperishable food to donate to the Salvation Army. More than two hundred academy’s students – in Vocational Nurse (LVN), MRI, Medical Assistant, and Phlebotomy Technician programs collected three and a half thousand brand-new items and five bags of interview clothes.
