Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts MRI Technology Program to expand to the Modesto Campus

The Modesto Campus of Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts adds Nationally Accredited MRI Technology Program!

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts, a private, medical vocation institution, is expanding its MRI Technology Program to the Modesto campus beginning in the fall of 2013.  This program is designed to prepare students to perform clinical MRI examinations of the human body with special consideration to image production, quality control, signal to noise ratio and basic pulse sequences.

Applications are now being accepted for entrance into the prerequisite courses which begin September 30, 2013!  Core program acceptance interviews will be conducted upon successful completion of the prerequisite courses.

The MRI Prerequisite Program begins with a four week Essential Medical Bioscience course offered completely online followed by a seven week hybrid Anatomy Physiology course.  The MRI Core Program begins January 6, 2014 and lasts 52 weeks excluding holidays.  The residential core program includes both didactic and clinical training preparing the student for success in the professional work place upon graduation.

In addition to providing a thorough and comprehensive curriculum, Gurnick Academy also provides job placement support upon successful completion of the program.
