Each Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts campus has a dedicated Student Services team to help students navigate their chosen program and education. We understand how vital student life is; we want to help you maintain a healthy balance of school, work, and fun!
As a department, Student Services covers various events and activities that contribute to your time at Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts. The process starts at the beginning with new student orientations.
Student Services assists students with materials, clinical immunizations, inquiries, support, resources, and more throughout their education. We work directly with each program to maintain the academic status of each student. We keep track of program requirements to ensure all students get on and stay on track.
Our department’s goal is to provide support and resources to all students throughout their educational experience with Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts. From start to finish, we are there each step of the way. Some of the many services the Student Services Department provides are listed below.
The Student Services Department works to help prepare students for their educational program. While orientation format can differ depending on the program type, we want to ensure all students can access the same (important!) information from the start.
As a department, we assist with the distribution of important institutional information and materials needed to start your journey. The school-wide policy and procedures are reviewed, clinical immunization requirements are discussed, and we aim to answer any questions you may have!
Student Services ensures students complete all necessary documents throughout their enrollment and education journey. We help maintain student folder records in compliance with all accreditation requirements (institutional and programmatic). We also help to prepare you for the immunization documentation requirements for clinicals!
The Student Services Department plans out the commencement exercises for each campus. We distribute important information to our graduates regarding the planned events and the requirements to attend. Student Services works with other administration, personnel, and campus and program leadership to celebrate your high achievement in completion and graduation in your program!
Take a look at the commencement schedule below! If you have any questions regarding your ceremony or regalia, please be sure to contact the Student Services Department on your campus!

By joining the Student Governance Program (SGP), you can step into a role where you can inspire, connect, and create change on campus. As a Student Ambassador, you’ll help welcome new students, speak at info sessions, and represent the college at exciting campus and community events. You’ll work alongside a passionate team to share ideas, plan initiatives, and shape the student experience. It’s a fun, dynamic way to grow your leadership skills and get involved in campus life.
To inquire about joining the SGP and becoming a Student Ambassador on your campus, contact your Student Services Department either on campus or using the form on this page.
The Student Services Department is your dedicated resource for fostering engagement, community, and a vibrant campus experience. We’re here to support your academic journey and help you connect, have fun, and make lasting memories during your time at college. We plan and share a dynamic calendar of events each academic year to enrich student life and build a sense of belonging. These events range from student appreciation days and multicultural celebrations to potluck gatherings that bring diverse voices and tastes together. You’ll also find plenty of ways to express yourself and get involved through themed days, holiday fun, and awareness campaigns that highlight causes and communities that matter.
Beyond campus, we also coordinate off-site activities like volunteer outings and philanthropic events, including walks for important causes such as Alzheimer’s awareness. Whether you’re looking to connect with others, relax and recharge, or give back to the community, there’s something for everyone.
We’re always looking for new ways to enhance student life; if you have an idea or event you’d love to see on campus, let us know and drop a note below!
When you become enrolled, you will receive an automatic email with instructions on how to place a uniform order, sent directly to your Gurnick email account. Once you become active (after the first day of classes), you will receive your uniform within 7-10 business days.
Students must wear business casual attire or unlogoed scrubs to classes while awaiting their scrub. At the start of the third week of courses, only Gurnick Academy approved uniform items will be allowed. Please be sure to follow the general dress code guidelines, outlined in the institution catalog and your program’s handbook.
Please follow the sizing guidelines here. It is imperative that you make sure to measure yourself accurately. If exchanges are needed after receiving your uniforms, please note that shipping and handling costs will occur.
If you are in between sizes and/or want a looser fit, it is best to size up.
The uniforms are more of a slim, tapered fit.
All students receive the same initial style. If you would like to purchase other pant or top types, please visit the website here.
Check out our uniform collection(s) here!
We welcome everyone to purchase additional merchandise items in the Gurnick Store. However, unless otherwise stated on the website, merchandise is not part of the approved uniform. Students are welcome to wear Gurnick merchandise to and from class/clinicals, however, the items cannot be worn during class time.
Log into your GEGI account and select “View Transcript” under your Didactic Group(s) Action button. Instructions are available to download/view in this module.
Visit our website here to place your order for an official transcript. Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts currently processes official transcripts via Parchment services.
Student Services can provide you with a verification letter for purposes of child care, employment, etc. The letter can only be provided to you directly. If your employer has questions, they will need to contact the registrar directly at [email protected] and provide a signed consent form to release information.
All programmatic, institutional, and financial obligations must be completed prior to the completion of the program. Please speak with your program director/coordinator and the campus director if you have questions. If your program has exit exams, please refer to your schedule for exam dates and other requirements (if applicable). Questions about the exam schedule can be directed to your program director/coordinator, as well.
Please check out our current graduation calendar here. As it gets closer to the end of your program, your Student Services team will provide you with information on the event details.
