Outreach Development Manager/Career Services

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is a leading California private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of nursing and allied healthcare programs such as: Vocational Nurse, Psychiatric Technician and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN pathway) as well as Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician and healthcare programs: Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant, Ultrasound Technology, MRI, Radiologic Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Imaging.

Gurnick Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Outreach Development Manager/Career Services, Full-Time who are team players and available to work in our Van Nuys, CA Campus. Experience and knowledge in working in the Healthcare sector focusing on Imaging and Allied Health Fields.

Basic Function

In relation to contributing to Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts mission and goals, under the direct supervision of the Campus Director, provides numerous services that assist students and graduates in obtaining employment and develop and execute Outreach strategies to identify, gain access to, and develop key relationships for the purposes of clinical site acquisition, and high level site support. The activities include 2 major functions with six key areas of focus for outreach:

Career Services:

• Prepare students for the job market and to aid in the process of student development. Career Service works with students prior to graduation in order to prepare them for practical application of their skills and entering into the job market. Standards and goals are set for every function of the Career Services Department in order to achieve outcomes for our students.

Outreach:

• Lead Development
• Active Marketing and Community Outreach
• Relationship Development (Pipeline Management in CRM)
• Relationship Management (Clinical Site Liaison and Contracting)
• Programmatic Interface (Comprehension of Gurnick Programs & Clinical Site Acquisition Needs/Prioritization)
• Clinical Site Background Communication to Clinical Coordinators or Program Coordinators/Directors

Ultimately the position will be responsible for the overall placement at the Campus Level of Gurnick’s Graduates and effectiveness and quality of marketing/sales support efforts to our clinical partners. The priorities will be determined by programmatic leadership and then initiated by the Career Services & Outreach Manager (by programs and campus location). Effectiveness will be evaluated based on the percentage of graduate placements and the quality of relationships with the healthcare community, timely reporting, and to the degree that there are enough clinical sites / slots for students for the Outreach’s clinical site responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or at least two years related sales and marketing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2 years of sales management / business development experience
• Working Knowledge of Google Suite, Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Etc.
• Basic understanding and working knowledge of CRMs

Salary Range, Full-time: $65,000 – $85,000
