ABHES Award Given to Modesto Nursing Student

Shari Delgado, Modesto Campus Vocational Nurse (VN) program student, was awarded the 8th Annual Christopher J. Eaton scholarship by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). Delgado had the exciting opportunity to attend the 2023 ABHES Conference, where she officially accepted the award on Thursday, March 2, 2023, during the 19th Annual National Conference on Allied Health Education. The award was conferred at The Bellagio Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Eligibility for the award was as follows:

• Be actively enrolled in an ABHES-accredited program at the time of the nomination. 
• Be actively enrolled at the time of award or have successfully completed the program.
• Display a high level of integrity and perseverance.
• Exhibit persistence, dedication, and a highly positive attitude.
